About Me
I get asked all the time, how I got started in this business. I like to think that I
naturally ended up here due to my curiosity of design, my work ethic, my
desire for entrepreneurship and a bit of good timing.
My name is Erika DeMaria and I have always had a passion for design, whether it be interior, fashion or now furniture design. As a child, I was always re-designing my bedroom and accessorizing my outfits. I have been upholstering and working on custom projects for over seven years now and I love every minute of it. I have not only helped customers refresh their furniture pieces with unique fabrics, but I also create and sell headboards, nursery room wall panels, ottomans, mirrors, pillows and potentially much more in the future. I like to offer a broad selection of boutique fabrics along with abstract patterns I have designed myself.
Seeing pieces of furniture that were once headed for the trash, re-imagined and recreated with new life and purpose is what makes the job exciting. How it Works:
Step 1
Reviving a vintage piece is an exciting journey that begins by selecting the perfect piece.Choose a vintage piece from the Swatch inventory, bring in your personal piece, or send details of your custom project.
Step 2
Consult with Erika to pair up the perfect combination of fabric for your project, using either a selection from the Swatch gallery or your own. Discuss details like trimmings, nailhead and leg refinishing options.
Step 3
Drop off your piece or coordinate pick up with Erika to start the re-upholstery process. She will begin the process of bringing your valued furniture back to life or creating a completely one of a kind piece for you home.
Step 4
Take home your unique, newly upholstered furniture and enjoy it for years! Each piece is crafted with care, adding comfort and style to your living space. Embrace individuality in your decor!
